Best format setting for dvd to kindle fire conversion?

for the Kindle Fire.. is there a way i can upload dvd movies to the Android-based tablet? what kin of conversion do i need? what’s the best format setting when ripping dvd to kinlde fire?

As we all know, DVDs are encrypted with copyright protection. In order to get a DVD into a digital video for playback with Kindle Fire, we have to get some help from the third-party softare. There are many programs out there that allow you to make copies of your DVDs and let you watch them the way you want to view them. Most of you are likely familiar with the excellent Handbrake for ripping standard Def DVDs, but while it cannot decrypt the DVDs. so you’ll need to add an intermediate step. The software recommended here is called Pavtube DVD Ripper for Mac.

To be honest, the Mac DVD to Kindle Fire Converter is easy to use for editing and conversion and makes great quality copies of my DVDs and DVD iso/ifo images. It really enriches my digital entertainment on the Kindle Fire by downloading and copying DVDs to the Android Tablet. I am very pleased with the application, it exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with it. The audio/video synchronization is very good, the size of the subtitles too. The program is on sale at the company’s New Year Promotion through Dec.5 2011 to Jan. 16 2012 if you choose this option.

Below is simple guide ripping DVD to Kindle Fire for playback under Mac OS X Lion.

I wonder if the Kindle Fire is able to play “movies” digital copies, i own several BluRay movies that have a digital copy for free and i really would like to tranfer those movies. I want to get the kindle fire but i dont see the point in getting a tablet if im not able to play the movies i own.

The answer is Nope, Kindle Fire will not directly play Blu-ray Digital Copy movies. You can load some video mp4s on it. However, there must be a way to view digital copies on the Fire. As far as i know, the best way is to remove the DRM from the Blu-ray Digital Copies along with some help of 3r party tool. Digital Copies you bought(either a itunes format or a windows WMV) or from Blu-ray and DVD Discs come with DRM copy-protection and are restricted to specific computers and devices only. DRM allows you to transfer a Digital Copy movie to specified devices while while preventing you from playing Digital Copies on any other portable devices. DRM can not stop users putting Digital Copy movie to the Android tablet Fire, but it stops the Android tablet playing the Digital movies- tha’s why you get gray screen when trying to play an Bluray Digital Copies on Android tab.

How-To: PlayDigital Copy DRM protected movies on Kindle Fire?

Unfortunately Kindle Fire is not granted to play DRM-protected videos. To have the device play these Digital Copies movie purchases, get yourself a DRM removal tool first (e.g. ChewTune). After get rid of DRM from Blu-ray Digital Copies and convert them to Kindle Fire friendly file type, you will have the full access and control of the Movies Digital Copies.

HP TouchPad is wonderful for videos playback, but it only supported limited video formats. Common 1080p and 720p HD videos like TiVo, AVI, WMV, FLV, VOB or camera AVCHD videos can’t be played by it. However, if we just want to put some funny or meaningful videos on HP TouchPad for enjoying them everywhere. What should we do?

To make sure all HD videos played smoothly on HP TouchPad, the best solution is to do some work in advance. I mean a 3rd party tool to convert them. Among a large number of video convert apps, Pavtube Video Converter stands out from the rest. It is easy to use and supports a wide range of input videos including TiVo, VP6, MXF, VRO, MTS, M2TS, AVI, WMV, MKV, FLV, VOB, MVI, EVO, MOV, MPG, and more. You can try to import any video you have into this program for converting.

This HP TouchPad video converter also has some functions to help you editing the video, such as crop, trim, add watermark, remove interlace, replace audio etc. Plus, there is a “CUDA” button, if you use Nvidia video card. This button will bump automatically, that’s to say, you can enjoy a faster conversion speed. But, if you use other video card, the button will be gray and the conversion won’t be accelerated.
